Umbra of Newburgh is a state of the art studio dedicated to providing the best tools and experience for film and video productions.
Umbra has an amazing soundstage of over 16,000 sq. ft., 6,000 sq. ft. of scenic/construction space, and a 1,500 sq. ft. cyclorama wall ideal for infinite white or green/blue screen, perfect for visual effects.
The studio houses 4,000 sq. ft. of office space, making sure that any production that comes along has plenty room to run operations smoothly. We cover every aspect of your production needs, the studio also offers wardrobe rooms, green rooms, make-up areas, dressing rooms, several bathrooms (including showers,) and a screening room, perfect for watching your dailies and making sure your production stays on track. Our facility is also equipped with a wide variety of lighting equipment to fulfill most film production needs; a full equipment list is available upon request.
Our stages also have a dedicated craft service area ideal for big productions, allowing crew members to get through the line faster and ample sitting space for them to have a comfortable meal.
